I take a thoughtful, whole-person approach to acupuncture, taking time to understand not only the symptoms that bring you to treatment, but your wider physical and emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and individual circumstances. Using the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, each treatment is tailored around you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
While my practice is broad, I have a special interest in pain, musculoskeletal health and chronic conditions, particularly persistent and recurring symptoms and the wider impact they can have on everyday life. I’m especially interested in working with people living with complex long-term conditions such as fibromyalgia and endometriosis.
My aim is to create a calm, welcoming space where you feel listened to, understood and involved in your care.

"I’ve never considered acupuncture previously as had always been worried about the needles and didn’t know enough about it for me to get over that fear. I initially (nervously) went to Millie whilst she was a student about an injury I’d had in my calf and asked if she thought it could help as I had got to the point where nothing was helping. She explained the theory behind acupuncture and the ways it works in alignment with your body so I decided to take the plunge and I’ve never looked back! After just a few short sessions with Millie my injury had began to finally heal and I felt respite. From this, I decided to explore acupuncture for both my Crohn’s disease and endometriosis since I saw how effective it had been for my calf. Millie was in-depth in regards to how acupuncture could help with them both, any concerns I had, my symptoms and gave me choices on how I’d like to approach my treatment all with a profound level of professionalism and knowledge and it’s safe to say that her treatment was one of the first experiences of relief I’ve had from a lot of chronic pain that’s one of my main endometriosis symptoms as well as my tummy overall feeling a lot calmer and less inflamed. I doubt that I will ever go to a different acupuncturist in the future as Millie has a wonderful way of making you feel so calm, prioritised and listened to which I find can be hard to replicate"
